xfce4-mixer documentation request

Hello list,

I'm searching for documentation for xfce4-mixer, maybe someone here can
help me out.

I would like to set certain switches like master and PCM on a value !=
0 on xfce start, or to change both with the green volume bar (wannabe
master).

Unfortunately there's neither a manpage for xfce4-mixer,
~/.config/xfce4/mixer/config.xml nor documentation at www.xfce.org. So
I have no clue how to do this.

At least a hint to the source code that parses the config.xml file
would be nice.

Regards
Holger

Sorry to disappoint you here, but afaict the plugin nor the mixer gui
are intended to control the volume automatically, would it be on start
or at shutdown.  You will have to look at command line tools like aumix,
or amixer...

Check xfce4-autostart-editor.
