xboard is not following the modern consensus on how to use the available clipboards.

Hi,

xboard is using the PRIMARY clipboard.

This makes it work badly with other, more modern applications.

for details and rationale.

The correct way would be use the 'CLIPBOARD' clipboard and
*only* the CLIPBOARD clipboard to copy/paste positions.

PS I think that there are many short comings in the current
   chess 'standards' to exchange chess data. I'm seeking to
