wondering how to compile servlets n use database in glassfish(v2).

i m trying to compile servlets, it seems that the package isn't installed.
 im using glassfish v2.
i wud appreciate if sumone just scribble the steps to install servlets(and jsp ejb too).

also the system variables to be set?
