Can anyone here enlighten me how to make Windows' scanner interface recognize GIMP? Let me clarify. If I open GIMP and click File>Acquire>Scanner it works just fine. However, there is a direct-interface button on my scanner (It's an Epson scanner running on the TWAIN interface), and when I press it, there is a Windows dialog that pops up and asks me "What program would you like to open this with?" and it lists "Imaging" Photoshop (and I recall it listed Picasa when I had it installed), but not GIMP, and there is no way to add a new program to the list (Note: this dialog is related to Windows' Scanner and Camera Wizard, NOT the standard Open With dialog). Basically, I'm assuming this must be a registry issue, but can anyone shed some light as to how to add GIMP to this list? If so I would much appreciate it. Thanks.
