Hi, all guys,

I have a question that is there any way to realize the functions of
using java to program XPCOM components.

As you know, there were such more functions which can help mozilla to
acknowledge the XPCOM components which were programed by using
javascript, C++, and python except java only, why not?!

In my mind, if i can integrate java and mozilla togeter, that will be
fantastic and so great.

Is there any body dedicating in this?!

Have you looked at http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/JavaXPCOM  (I'm
not familiar with it myself, but thought that should be the place to
look...)

thank you . I have  read it!  the javaXPCOM is not what i wanted.  it
can not support java on embeding into  mozilla  . and only let mozilla
embed into java , then it could comunicate to each other .

if the mozilla could write  XPCOM component in java , that is
perfect !       but why not ?

It's because we are all holding out for my project, Mono
(http://go-mono.com/) to finally put the crushing blow to Java.

Just kidding :-)

Seriously though, its a pain with the javaxpcom bridge and Mono's
solution when its done is a lot more fluid and will be accessible to
Java via IKVM (http://ikvm.net). We have full two way communication
and wrapping in our test cases with a system that provides everything,
if not more, then Java at slightly better speeds. :-)

Hi, all,

Is there someone focused on the integration?! or maybe some guys have
some ideas?!

Would you mind to share with me about the ways you have too, I'm
trying to find a way help me to have java and mozilla both actually.

For your information, Destkop System integration was popular and
trend, what i want is to find a way, a better way to perform better
communication between java and mozilla!

In fact, I'm trying to find a way or solution to integrate, so if you
have, your advice and replies must be appreciated!

Thanks

Simon
