webtest-ReportingHi there,
since in WebTest R1710 are some neat features like "ignoring external JS-Errors" we would like to migrate to the new version. Unfortunately there are some problems with the "new" reporting-output. As we are using some scripts for automatic analytics migrating would now create a huge need of manhours. Is there any way to upgrade with keeping the old reporting, like it is in R1551? (format for the resufile.xml and folder-structure). Thanks in advance, Cheers, Alexander Mannsfeld Chief Quality Assurance Officer GD GameDuell GmbH _______________________________________________ WebTest mailing list WebTest@... http://lists.canoo.com/mailman/listinfo/webtest |

Re: webtest-ReportingHi there again,
regarding my yesterday's question - problem solved by coding a wrapper; after a test has been finished it reconstructs the old resultFile.xml before actually parsing starts - except that the "result" is now an attribute and not a tag like before it works like a charm :-) . Perhaps this is helpfull for people confronted with the same situation like me :-) Have a nice weekend, Cheers, Alexander Am 03.07.2008 um 13:00 schrieb Alexander Mannsfeld: > Hi there, > > since in WebTest R1710 are some neat features like "ignoring > external JS-Errors" we would like to migrate to the > new version. Re: webtest-ReportingAlexander,
just to explain (again) why the format has changed: - it scales far better (saving hours of xslt processing on large test suites) - it allows to run tests in parallel - it allows to easily remove results for some tests Cheers, Marc. -- Blog: http://mguillem.wordpress.com Alexander Mannsfeld wrote: > Hi there again, > > regarding my yesterday's question - problem solved by coding a wrapper; > after a test has been finished it reconstructs the old resultFile.xml > before actually > parsing starts - except that the "result" is now an attribute and not a > tag like before > it works like a charm :-) . > > Perhaps this is helpfull for people confronted with the same situation > like me :-) > > Have a nice weekend, > > Cheers, > > Alexander > > Am 03.07.2008 um 13:00 schrieb Alexander Mannsfeld: > >> Hi there, >> >> since in WebTest R1710 are some neat features like "ignoring external >> JS-Errors" we would like to migrate to the >> new version.
