I am developing a low power datalogger with a verdex. I am using "standby" state to reduce power consumption. It would be nice if the watchdog could reset the verdex during standby (in case something happens and the verdex does not resume from standby).
I did some tests but it seems that watchdog reset does not work during standby state. I noticed that OSMR0 stops counting during standby. Maybe that's the problem.
I still have some hope since one of the PXA27x documents say that the watchdog reset could be used as a workaround to the sleep erratum. If this is true there must be a way to use the watchdog during low power states.
Does anyone know if it is possible to use the watchdog in standby state?
