variable environmentHello,
I'm using Scim, and i have installed the scim-bridge and the gtk-bridge. On two machine with same OS (fedora 6, sorry), i don't have the same behaviour. On machine A, scim is ok when i use GTK_IM_MODULE variable set to "scim", or "scim-bridge". On machine B, it's ok with "scim-bridge", but not with "scim". When GTK_IM_MODULE is set to "scim", after launching gtk application (gedit, or one i am developping), i can't activate scim, CTRL+space does nothing and i can't left-click with the mouse on the systray ... anyway, the right-click is ok, so scim is alive. It just seems that it can't link with gtk ? THANKS ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges. It just seems that it > can't link with gtk ? Are both machines the same arch (ie both i386 or x86_64). Also why you want to use both scim and scim-bridge? :) Can you reproduce on B from a fresh account? FC6 is no longer supported but if you attach the list of scim packages you have installed on both machines I can try to have a look.
