Hi All,

Has anyone noticed an issue with v11.1 stand-alone apps (i.e.
compiled with Volume Runtime), NOT being able to remember the
location of the last used data file.....? In my case running no MacOS
X 10.4.11....

Had to upgrade a client from version 6.8.x -- Initially went to 2004
but due to issues with stand-alone and 4D Write licences, decided to
make the extra jump to v11.1 instead.

Now, EVERY time the app is opened we get the error:

"No data file was found for the database xxxx. Do you want to open an
existing data file...."

We select the datafile. Use application. Quit. Open application and
get the same message again....

Seems to me that a change has been made to the way 4D apps remember
the datafile location (with the new .4DLink file).  I can see the
4DLink file for this app, and the pathnames appear to be correct in
the file, but it seems that the app itself is not able to correctly
read the file, and open the datafile listed.

Can anyone else confirm that they're seeing the same behaviour?

Cheers
Allan
