Hi all

I would like to use one of the uml metamodels provided in the site (uml 1.3, 1.4 or 1.5), but I would like to “open “them as a uml model with poseidon or magicdraw; maybe draw some stereotypes extensions and then use the new model as a metamodel. I guess that the last step is achieved using the uml2mof feature, but how can I edit the provided metamodel as a model in order to see it and to modify it?

The MOF2UML transformation written by the ATLAS team is designed for
that purpose: see

for a discussion of its implementation in ATL. My collegue has tested
it with the ATL development tools for Eclipse and noticed that not all
features of the UML profile for MOF are supported so I guess you'll
encounter some problems with round-tripping... Please keep me and/or
the list updated with your experiences.
