tweener board to robostix issues

Hi,
Now I am trying to use the Flash-LED program and get UART out on the
tweener board. I made the correct modifications to the tweener board
and plugged it in. It's not outputting anything. I changed the uart
from u0 to u1 in the code and back there was no change. Does anyone
have any ideas of how I can get the tweener board to work with
Flash-LED.c?
Thanks.
