i have a cgi called from a webpage that seems to break my webserver's file access:
an empty file fails:

/DVR/webAccess/cgi-bin/editrecitem.sh

makes itself invisible to my server(lighttpd):

a simple #!/usr/local/bin/python; print "hello, world!" works as expected...
weird...
