soundcard input software

hallo

I have to take the input from the soundcard of an windows station and
stream it so the icecast server to which the clients will actually
connect can mount it

based on you previous experience, can you tell me what windows program
can do that

There are several options.  For basic sound card input, I recommend Oddcast
V3 stand-alone edition from www.oddsoci.org

I use it all the time and find it works well.
