script to make dvd from mpegs + snaphots + titlesHi,
Does someone has a script that produces a dvd taking as input a list of mpegs with a snapshot and a title associated to each file? The script creates a dvd anvigation menu using the titles and the snapshots. Any2dvd is very close to this but it has the limit of 6 mpegs (one menu page). I need to do dvds with many more mpegs. I would like to do a lot of dvds from 10 years of family recording and I am looking for the easiest way to do it. I don't care about the menu style, so I did not want to do the graphics myself. Thanks a lot, Marko ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Still grepping through log files to find problems? Stop. You have the option to put the beginning of the video in reduced size in the menu, a very nice alternative to using snapshots (the problem of using a snapshot is that you can't automate the process of selecting a good frame in a video, if you choose the first frame you risk getting a black picture...). It took me some time to install it work in my debian system. I had several dependency problems, which I couldn't solve neither by using debian packages nor by installing the scripts in /usr/local with ./configure. The solution came with adding the line deb http://www.debian-multimedia.org sid main to my /etc/apt/sources.list. Great resource for debian users! Thanks also to mike and savi for their suggestions!
