scholarship committee

I'm on our scholarship committee for the third time and so far our school does not have a good system in evaluating the applications. We get about 150 applications for over 50 scholarships with different criteria ranging  from financial need, merit, units completed, major, ethnicity, transfer, continuing, etc. And some have a combination of several criteria. In the past I have created a grid in excel but it isn't very effective since it needs to be multi-dimensional.  

 

Does anyone have a good system for this process? '
