I'm using a voice recorder to record data hands-free. I'm generating long audio files which I then need to transcribe. To shorten the transcription process, I'm trying to use Audacity to delete the silences between numbers before I listen to the files. I've found "Analyze - Silence finder" and used it to identify zones of silence, but I can't figure out how to then automatically delete those zones. Is there a way to do this with Audacity? If not, does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks!
