release 0.5 of nss-ldapdDevelopment of nss-ldapd, has reached a new milestone with most of the LDAP query code rewritten in the just released 0.5 version. http://ch.tudelft.nl/~arthur/nss-ldapd/ This release brings major structural changes in the LDAP lookup code with improved reconnect and timeout logic, Kerberos ccname support, support for IPv6 addresses in host entries, DNS SRV record lookup support, a fix for a small memory leak and many other code and documentation improvements. At this point the nss-ldapd code is in such a shape that adding back missing features is feasible again. Patches are always welcome. If there are any features you are missing, please speak up. For more information and changes in this release, please see the URL above. Any feedback is still greatly appreciated. -- -- arthur - arthur@... - http://ch.tudelft.nl/~arthur -- |

I'm a Debian developer so I'm both "upstream" for nss-ldapd as well as package maintainer.
