I went the cheap route on my 300zx. I don't know if you can do this with
the rabbit.
I went to the 4x4 place and bought the 2" lift spacers for a jeep, the z
and the jeep have the same diameter springs.
And I found a Z car with short stiff springs from lowering in the
wrecking yard.
The short spring allowed me to assemble it without a spring compressor.
