quick question as to which list I want

please reply to this mail, as I've not joined either of these lists yet.

I've never written a driver before, but there are no drivers for my
notebook's sound chipset, and I want to get one written, so I can have
some sound. My notebook is an i386 notebook, and I was wondering
should I use the general "freebsd-drivers" list, or the ia32 list?

Thank you,
-Jim Stapleton

For a sound driver you actually might want to try on freebsd-multimedia@
first.  This list can help if you have questions that aren't specific to
sound once you get going.
