question on graphical explain

Hi - I just installed PGADMIN 1.8.4 on my machine.
I would like to save the graphical explain output for printing for later

presentations.  It is easy enough to export the 'data output'
Of the explain to a file but I wish to print the 'explain' output.
 Any help would be appreciated.

Thank  you,

There aren't yet any printing options in pgAdmin (it's a lot of work,
for a rarely requested feature), but iirc, Magnus had a patch to save
the EXPLAIN output to a bitmap file. What happened to that Magnus?

In the meantime, if you're on Windows, you can use Alt+Print Screen to
copy the current window to the clipboard from where you can paste it
into your favourite graphics program. On a Mac, press Cmd+Shift+4,
then hit the spacebar and click to snap the window (a file will be
saved to your desktop. There's probably 1001 different ways to do it
on Linux, none of which I know.

Sitting in my queue. There were some adjustments needed to make it work
on the Mac, IIRC, and I just haven't gotten around to doing those and
then applying it.

No rush Magnus, Dave's alt-printscreen suggestion works just fine.  Thanks
Dave

print-screen doesn't cut it when the diagram is too tall or too wide for window and the image has scrollbars. The EXPORT to image for the explain diagram would preserve all of the image.
