Hi Frank,

I am attaching a patch that adds pitches to a rhythmic tree. Actually,
the ENP score notation
format is basically a rhythmic tree, where more information such as
pitches can be added
with additional keywords.

I am not sure, if a function exists to produce this automatically -
but you could create the
list structure yourself perhaps. Beware that the text-box I am using
here has a setting
"extra-parenthesis?" under "edit box...".

You might also be interested in looking at the library ksquant (but it
does quantization).
