pwgl-users: PWGL Skin DefaultHello
The current "Blank" skin has a particular set of default colours for the "blend-color". Each blend-color can be manually changed for every box after they are created to obtain a plain grey background. Is it possible for me to save an alternative default colour scheme for the blend-color, saving the additional step of manually changing it each time a box is created? Also would it be possible to add an option to change the default font for the box contents and their titles. The current variable width serif font is a little fuzzy and difficult to read. My preference would be for Monaco: a fixed width sans-serif font in black. Thanks for your attention and for providing an exceptional piece of software. Regards lool |

The box "color" is a list of four colors in rgb values (0.0-1.0) so (0.25 0.25 0.25) would be kind of a dark gray. You can edit the attached file (in a text editor) and put it inside PWGL-User/PWGL-skins and it will appear in the PWGL preferences where you can choose it as your default skin. > > > Also would it be possible to add an option to change the default > font for the box contents and their titles. > The current variable width serif font is a little fuzzy and > difficult to read. > My preference would be for Monaco: a fixed width sans-serif font in > black. Fonts are especially difficult in OpenGL. At some point there will be a font upgrade but the quality of the fonts displayed in the screen will remain pretty much the same... > > > Thanks for your attention and for providing an exceptional piece of > software. > > Regards > lool Mika Kuuskankare Researcher Centre for Music & Technology Sibelius Academy Henkilökohtainen postiosoite/Personal post address PL 342 - PO Box 342 FIN-00121 Helsinki, FINLAND Tel: +358 (0)40 5415 233 Skype: mkuuskan home page: www.siba.fi/~mkuuskan |

Currently there are four MIDI outs available A,B,C,D. Would it be possible to add four more ports please, enabling full usage of an eight port MIDI interface. How can the model definitions in the following folders be utilized? pwgl-components:pwglsynth:db:LL models:Modèles instrumentaux pwgl-components:pwglsynth:db:LL models:Reson Regards lool On 10 Dec 2007, at 10:49, Mika Kuuskankare wrote: > > On 10.12.2007, at 0:46, lool@... wrote: > >> Hello >> >> The current "Blank" skin has a particular set of default colours >> for the "blend-color". >> >> Each blend-color can be manually changed for every box after they >> are created to obtain a plain grey background. >> >> Is it possible for me to save an alternative default colour scheme >> for the blend-color, saving the additional step of manually >> changing it each time a box is created? > > If you take a look at the attached skin file (gray.skin) you see > these two skin variable names: > (1) *PWGL-MAIN-BOX-COLOR* > (2) *PWGL-INPUT-BOX-COLOR* > > These control the color of the main box and the input boxes inside > the main box. > The box "color" is a list of four colors in rgb values (0.0-1.0) so > (0.25 0.25 0.25) would be kind of a dark gray. > > You can edit the attached file (in a text editor) and put it inside > PWGL-User/PWGL-skins and it will appear in the PWGL preferences > where you can choose it as your default skin. > >> >> >> Also would it be possible to add an option to change the default >> font for the box contents and their titles. >> The current variable width serif font is a little fuzzy and >> difficult to read. >> My preference would be for Monaco: a fixed width sans-serif font >> in black. > > Fonts are especially difficult in OpenGL. You can read them using a box called 'read-mor-db' ('mor 'stands for 'models of resonators' ) that you can find under the synth/database menu. Mikael |

pwgl-users: PWGL Skin Text ColourHello
I've been making a custom skin for PWGL. Please advise how the colour of the input box text, the various I/O arrows surrounding the box can be changed. Thanks |

Re: pwgl-users: PWGL Skin Text ColourCurrently the incoming arrows take the color from the connection color. The input box text does not seem to be affected by any of the skin variables. I should correct this. As well as adding some variables that control the output arrows. BTW, there is a small skin editor that I personally use. It's not much but I could make it available in the next release, if it would help. best, mika On 3.4.2008, at 0:08, lool@... wrote: > Hello > > I've been making a custom skin for PWGL. > > Please advise how the colour of the input box text, the various I/O > arrows surrounding the box can be changed. > > Thanks Mika Kuuskankare Researcher Centre for Music & Technology Sibelius Academy Henkilökohtainen postiosoite/Personal post address PL 342 - PO Box 342 FIN-00121 Helsinki, FINLAND Tel: +358 (0)40 5415 233 Skype: mkuuskan home page: www.siba.fi/~mkuuskan |
