phpWebSite 1.3.0Good day,
I am going to work on a 1.3.0 release this week. The reason I am notifying you now is that I feel it will be a little incomplete. There are some very good bugs and feature requests in SF but I need to skip some of them for now. We have four university module deadlines for August. Since two modules require the latest core version, I am pushing the 1.3.0 release. The good news is that once we get past August, we should be done with university projects for the first time in three years. 1.3.0 will contain two new modules: Signup and PageSmith. The first module's title aptly describes its function. The second module is an alternative to Web Pages. It is a template-based page creation tool. Though it will be included in the next version, it doesn't have any conversion tools yet. Versioning is also absent. If anyone would care to test the next release candidate, I'd appreciate it. Re: phpWebSite 1.3.0Both. I will produce an RC today or tomorrow. Normally I put out module
updates first, then create an RC from the result. I am going to produce the RC from a finalized subversion export this time. Once I am satisfied with the RC, I will finalize the module updates then create a final release. I am still working in subversion right now. I need to polish PageSmith. Once done with that, I'll update dependencies and boost files. Then I'll put out the RC and contact y'all. I'll be running the RC against 1.2.0 to debug. Thanks for offering to help :) Matt Verdon Vaillancourt wrote: > Hi Matt, > > Are you looking for tests of an upgrade or fresh install? > > rgds, > verdon > > > On 23-Jul-07, at 8:49 AM, matt wrote: > > >> If anyone would care to test the next release candidate, I'd >> appreciate it. >> > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. > Still grepping through log files to find problems?
