Hello,

I'm a new user of Petals and its SOAP binding component. I have to access SOAP
web services thar are behind an Apache HTTPS server doing SSL certificates
validation to restrict the access to authorized clients. Furthermore, the
calls to services have to be statefull using http sessions.

So, I have two questions concerning petals-bc-soap:
- is it possible to use https with certificates validation a the transport ?
- is it possible to use http sessions ?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Gaël de Chalendar

Hi Gaël,

These two features are not supported by the SOAP BC. Since it uses Axis2, we can imagine to implement them in the future.
We have to discuss about that on our side.

Regards,

Christophe

OK. Should I open a wish for that on the bug tracker ?

I opened two different feature requests as they are somewhat different:
http://forge.objectweb.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=309204&group_id=213&atid=350260
http://forge.objectweb.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=309205&group_id=213&atid=350260

Note that if necessary, I could be interested to have myself a look to the
implementation of these features.

Regards,

Gaël

In fact, is there any authentication protocol supported by the current
petals-bc-soap  ? In the documentation I see only the proxy involving a
user/password.

Thanks

Gaël
