Hello,

today I downloaded 6.1 to give it a try. The UI just doesn't working:
the main menu pulls down only if I keep the mouse button pressed, and if
I move downwards to select an item, the pulldown dissapears, and a
pulldown of another menu item shows. Clicking is not possible.

my config:
debian etch amd64
netbeans 6.1
jdk1.6.0_06-amd64

I wasn't able to find anything similar among the known issues.
Any ideas?

Regards, Peter

nbusers is the list for these type questions. It is probably related to the graphics environment
or something. It may be the 64-bit JVM, but hopefully not. I'm using it on openSuSE 10.3 (32-bit
OS, VM, hardware) with xrandr dual monitors and it is working awesome. I have run it with the 1.5
and 1.6 JVMs I can get from SuSE (still Sun JVMs) and the 1.6u10 (consumer developer kit/runtime)
from Sun which is supposed to have better startup etc. Are you running any enhanced 3D Linux
desktops such as Compiz or any others? These have had different issues.
