Sometimes my i-Blue747 logger just after hot start begins to flash indicating that it receives sattelites signal but indeed it saves many points like following

<trkpt lat="54.111908743" lon="27.191271210">
  <ele>1323.143188</ele>
<time>2008-07-18T10:03:44Z</time>
  <name>TP6735</name>
  <fix>none</fix>
  <sat>5</sat>
  <hdop>2.690000</hdop>
</trkpt>
As you can see even when it handles 5 sattelites and HDOP is 2.69 - actually there is NONE in fix tag, and the position in the fact is much far away

Actual position in couple of minutes with 3d fix looks like:

<trkpt lat="54.113235596" lon="27.172829560">
  <ele>350.121857</ele>
<time>2008-07-18T10:05:54Z</time>
  <name>TP6851</name>
  <fix>3d</fix>
  <sat>8</sat>
  <hdop>0.950000</hdop>
</trkpt>
So could you Robert add the possibility to "discard" filter to check not only HJDOPVDOP and NSAT but also fix?
I would kill all that points with "none" and "2d" values...

Hi,
Do you mean like the :
 -x discard,fixnone
option ?
It works fine for me using an iBlue-747.

That was added after 1.3.5.

Filtering on DOP should be about as satisfying for these GPSes that insist on recording track points when they actually have no idea where they are.
