mobile agent to visit web servers

Hi!
I have to make a project for my university. I have to develop a mobile agent able to get a file with URLs from a user, visit the sites of these URLs ,return to user and inform him if there were any changes in these sites from his last visit. My problem is that i dont know how to develop the agent so that he can move into/between the web servers(the URLs sites), because i know that if an agent has to move in an environement it should have a platform able to accept mobile agents(like JADE). Is there any way to develop something like that with JADE?

Hi Doku,

You can consider JADE for your project since it includes an agent
mobility service to move agents between agent containers of the same
platform. Depending on the scope of your project may be you will be
interested in the inter-platform mobility add-on for JADE
(https://tao.uab.cat/ipmp) which allows to migrate agents between
different instances of the platform. In any case I recommend you to
check the JADE documentation to get an idea of the possibilities you
have. I also recommend you to read the "Developing Multi-Agent Systems
with JADE" book published by Wiley. Nevertheless, regarding your
question it seems that you are interested in some method to check if
exists a platform instance in the URL you want to visit, am I right? I
am afraid that the only solution is to send some type of query by an ACL
message to the AMS agent of the hypothetic platform and wait for a
response.
