is there a specific reason for WACollectionTag and WATree to have a
different API (in Seaside 2.8) for setting the labelBlock instance
variable?

I think I can change the question to:

Is there a specific reasing for "collection related" WAComponent
subclasses using #labelBlock:, while WACollectionTag implements
#labels:

Different implementors, different philosophy, am I missing something?
