jforum with Jahia 5 community edition

Hi all,

I am trying to install and use jforum with Jahia 5 community edition.  I downloaded relevant war file from the jahia portlets page (http://nightly.jahia.org/portlets_JSR168_for_JAHIA_5/jforum/jforum.war) and followed the manual install instructions on the Jforum site (http://www.jforum.net/install_no_wizard.jsp) as I could not find any specific instructions for the jahia portlet.  The war file seemed to successfully deploy and I was able to add it as a webapp portlet in Jahia.  Unfortunately though when I add the portlet nothing is displayed in jahia, all I am presented with is a blank portlet:

Are there any instructions for setting this up on Jahia?  Is there an extra step missing in the manual jforum instructions that needs to apply for Jahia?  Is there a better forum functionality that I have missed for Jahia 5 community edition?

 

Any support advice would be much appreciated.
