jaresty@mit.edu sent you a link from Fundable.comAn iPhone for David Huynh https://www.fundable.com/groupactions/groupaction.2008-06-09.8038054034/groupaction_view Hey all, I've started a fundraiser at www.fundable.org to collect donations to buy a 3G iPhone for David Huynh. I hope that some of the other iPhone owners out there will recognize this for the selfish act it is - trying to get David to develop built-in iPhone views for all exhibits! Or perhaps, the next killer iPhone app for browsing data! Regardless, I suspect that many of those on this list could spare $20 to make a nice gift to the guy who brought us so many useful tools. Please join me in chipping in $20. Thanks for your time; bye for now. Best, Josh Aresty --- What is Fundable? Fundable.com lets groups of people pool money to make purchases or raise funds. Similar to online auctions, Fundable's collection pages are created by people who use the web site. Each page contains a description of how much money needs to be collected and what it will do. Once enough pledges for a collection have been secured, Fundable turns them into real payments and sends the total to the collection's organizer. If a collection expires before reaching its total in pledges, Fundable deletes all pledges and never charges money. _______________________________________________ General mailing list General@... http://simile.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/general |

RE: jaresty@mit.edu sent you a link from Fundable.comI'm certainly in for $20!
It's a great tool and use of it has certainly made me look good (well, even better) at work, as well as provided us with a great way to display certain data. The least we can do is buy the man an iPhone! -----Original Message----- From: general-bounces@... [mailto:general-bounces@...] On Behalf Of jaresty@...
