intuos3 vs bamboo

I've been using both in my work recently as an interface for sample
triggering (x = sample, y = amplitude, z = pitch offset) and for
scrubbing through fft'd samples

The main issue I have with my bamboo is that physically the surface
area is quite small and if I drop too many samples onto the 'surface'
it's harder for me to trigger particular samples with any degree of
certainty, while the Intuos A5 affords me the opportunity to place a
pretty good scribble strip for more precise control.

As a workaround I guess I could use smaller banks of sound, but I
like having them all there... just in case... It's nice to have the
tilt data too...

For other patches that I've built the bamboo works pretty well... it
seems a bit more 'scratchy' than the Intuous, but it's also super
portable.

Cheers

Jules
