Hi,
I have the same problem : impossible to connect xwiki to our AD. I get systematically the message " Internal error" and tomcat exception :

When I comment the line xwiki.authentication.authclass=com.xpn.xwiki.user.impl.LDAP.XWikiLDAPAuthServiceImpl in xwiki.cfg, I don't get any error but impossible to log in xwiki.
I tried the authentication against an open ldap ad it worked fine. I don't know what happen with AD, I made a lot of tries following the example provided in the documentation without success.
I have many applications working with AD authentication (Moodle, CAS server). We are looking how to use CAS with Xwiki.
Best regards
Vincent

Hi!
I just try to configure user authentication by AD. After trying a while the
system runs but if I try to use an AD User I get the information about an
internal error with no more information. How can I get an information what
goes wrong?
