how do you keep your phpmyadmin up-to-date?

How do you do it?

Would it be foreseeable to see phpmyadmin implement security update
notification in the least, or auto-update?

I know this is different to programs such as Firefox, but it is a
concern just as serious.

Are there bundles that keep their setup of phpmyadmin up-to-date? WAMP
etc. could do this - do they?

for me, yes, i work only with trunk

but if you prefer you can use STABLE or TESTING
or a specific version QA_2_11 or RELEASE_2_11_6
