getResourceAsStream in a Maven project

Hello,

 

I created a new Maven2 project and I'm having trouble getting getResourceAsStream ("/some/pkg/resource.properties") to work.

I tried it many different ways but no luck. However when I recreated the project as a web project it seems to work fine.

 

Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi,
I don't think it's NB related.

Did you put in the correct place?

It should be here:

<PROJECT HOME>/src/main/resources/some/pkg/resource.properties

i.e. in the "Other Sources" folder of a Maven/NetBeans project. ("OtherSources"/some/pkg/resource.properties).
