genus 2 point counting record

Dear all,

We would like to announce our new record in genus 2 point counting: we
were able to compute the Zeta function of a (more or less) randomly
chosen genus 2 curve defined over GF(2^127-1), yielding a jacobian with a
group order of about 2^254.
