Hi everyone.

We recently saw an advert in our local paper about a greyhound gang walk organised by northumberland greyhound rescue, we took Alfie and Mac (fawny and storm) along, they had a great time, it was lovely to meet other people and their lovely greyhounds.  Alfie was very nervous at first but soon settled after a quick sniff of the other dogs and Mac was his usual bouncy self wagging his tail all the way.  The next walk is on sunday 11th may, we will take some photos and send them to Dianne.

Hi Denise & Crew!

Hope you all had a great time on your walk yesterday, (you certainly had the weather for it). Hope Alfie wasn't too nervous, bless, he's a lovely boy who has come on leaps and bounds since you got him.

Look forward to seeing your photos

Dianne x

We have these here in Essex, well they started out in Essex but now they are spreading out in to Suffolk as well, they have a web site for anyone interested.

This gang walk is at blyth beach in Northumberland which isn't too far from where we live,  we were unable to go this weekend as we had to go to Darlington to get a part for John's pond, but they do it every month.  I think it's a great idea, it gives you an opportunity to meet other greyhound owners and have a good natter.  It's very well organised and the dogs love it.
