form event : "on load" for subforms

Hallo,
I am using 4d 2004.10 on a powerpc mac.
I have an input form with a subform on it.  I want the info displayed  
in the subform to be sorted in a particular order. When I first open  
the input form, the subform is correctly ordered. When I move to the  
next record, the sorting operation fails, and when I return to the  
first record, the order is suddenly wrong.

should I be using a different form event to get the result I want ?  
If so which one ?

Try the "on load record" event. You are not reloading the form as you
cycle through the records but you are loading the record.
