farcry 4 install on OSX (tiger) with cf8Hi There I am a Mac and Apache Newbie.. and a farcry 4 newbie (have used windows, iis and farcry 3.x) Ok, now that I have made a disclaimer on my lack of knowledge here, I hope someone can help send me in the right direction, I can't find the installer for FarCry 4 on this new setup. I am using a mac 10.4.11 and am attempting to install FarCry 4 using the apache server the mac came with and MySql. So far Coldfusion 8, apache and Mysql are talking so its the FarCry 4 setup I am having difficulty with. Steps so far: Put new farcry 4 files into default webroot, ie the core, plugins and projects are sitting in: Library/Webserver/Documents/farcry cf mappings: logical path: /farcry directory path: /Library/WebServer/Documents/farcry Database: I created a blank mysql database called sheps and set up a dsn in cf8 I have added to my httpd.conf (/etc/httpd): <VirtualHost 127.0.0.1:80> ServerName localhost DocumentRoot /Library/WebServer/Documents/projects/sheps/www Alias /farcry "/Library/WebServer/Documents/farcry/core/admin" Alias /CFIDE "/Library/WebServer/Documents/CFIDE" </VirtualHost>l Can anyone help me get any further? Kind Regards Helen --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-dev" group.
