Post Installation Error

Hello World, I installed BlueErp on XAMPP - C:\xampp\htdocs\blueerp on Windows XP SP3 I got all the necessary feedback that the installation went ok. Then trying to log in as a user i browsed to http://localhost/blueerp/index.php and got the error instead: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class bo_Acl in C:\xampp\htdocs\blueerp\entity\inc\class.bo_Acl.inc.php on line 19 what did i do wrong? Please Help & Thanks!

Ok, that one made more sense to me as well.

pERP currently reserves the inventory at work order creation.
We often sell replacement parts, and if we don't reserve the
production parts, someone will try to sell them. Production doesn't
like that.
The list of components (bill of materials) for each item can be found
from the Edit Work Order page.

That sounds like a great idea. Currently pERP will generate a list of
missing stock on the work order detail popup:
Not enough 00644 - Screw #8x2" Deck on hand at Installs.
You need 10 , you have 0.
It would be good to see some kind of warning about that on the work
order list.

You can still build even if the computer says the screws aren't
there. Nothing more annoying than having to stop production because
somebody miscounted 2 months ago...

This one I'm afraid I won't be able to find time to add in. We
deliberately keep things separate, to the point where an order for 20
is filed as 20 work orders.
It's certainly possible, and if a good patch were submitted I would
include it.

An alternative that might be worth testing, depending on your
organisation, is pre-scheduling your work orders to optimum levels (if
it's best to run 5 through at a time, for example). The Sales Order
section can automatically slice work orders and allocate 2 to one
customer, one each to two other customers, one for on hand inventory.

Zsolt sent in a patch. It's included in pERP SVN, so you should
already have it.
If it doesn't work for you, perhaps Zsolt can give some multibyte
insight.

The table structure looks fine, but this is not correct. It should
not be empty.

You should also check your units of measure. If they're missing, it
can cause problems.

Some steps to take:
1. Have you done the updates in /setup ? If you don't do those,
things will stop working.
2. Figure out where your stock categories went.
3. You can try to recreate your stock categories by editing + saving
the stock categories you have. Maybe they'll write and fix things.
4. Try this SQL:
DELETE FROM egw_categories WHERE cat_appname = 'perp_inventory'
You'll have to re-create your stock categories, and edit every one of
your existing stock items to correctly set the stock category again.

Ω. Restore your last known good database backup.

Ok, a few more details please.
Should these sub-work orders be created every time, as:
Somebody ordered a D, so create a W.O. for that, and WOs for 2C, 2B

Or should current inventory be taken into account, as:

have 7 B on hand that aren't reserved for another build.

That's clever, I like that.

I have concerns if you take that too far, as much of pERP's
functionality is in the code. I'd hate to have you miss out on
something.
Setting completion dates via a trigger, for example, would skip the
part where all your inventory is consumed and costs allocated to the
work order.

Database error / egw_emailadmin doesn't exist

Hallo Zusammen,

ich habe gerade egoupware 1.6.001 installiert und wollte es so einrichten, dass sich neue Nutzer beim Login auch registrieren können.

Nur funktioniert dies nicht. Es erscheint die Fehlermeldung:

Invalid SQL: SELECT ea_profile_id FROM egw_emailadmin WHERE (ea_appname='felamimail' OR ea_appname IS NULL or ea_appname = '') and (ea_group IN ('0','-2','-6') OR ea_group IS NULL or ea_group = '') and (ea_user='5' OR ea_user IS NULL or ea_user = '0' or ea_user = '') ORDER BY ea_order:
Table 'dbxxxxx.egw_emailadmin' doesn't exist

Ich habe in der Datenbank nachgeschaut und die Tabelle gibt es auch nicht.

Ich hoffe, jemand weiß wo der Fehler steckt.

ldap acl addressbook slapd.d

Ich benutze eGroupware 1.6 auf einem opensuse 11.1 server.

Hier ist die Konfiguration des ldap-Servers nicht statisch in der '/etc/openldap/slapd.conf' sondern dynamisch in '/etc/openldap/slapd.d/'.

Wie kann ich die acl's die als Beispiel in der 'acl_addressbook.conf' beschrieben sind in die dynamische Konfiguration übernehmen?

Also ich bin mir nicht so ganz sicher ob's das war, aber ich glaube folgendes:

Nachdem jemand in einem anderen Thread etwas von fehlenden 'pear' Sachen gepostet hat, hab' ich mit yast das Paket 'php5-pear' aktuallisiert - also noch mal drüber installiert ... dann ging's.

Ich hoffe es hilft jemand - dann bitte posten!

Current user problem

Hi

Now a chcange my webhosting provider. He use freeBSD (till now eGW gone on Debian).
I'm was happy, finally I can use modul Current User.

But I have problem. When I activate it, then it slow down eGW.
E.g. a click to Calendar:
with Current User it takes 13.67
without Current User it takes 0.93

I use snapshot from today.

Please help where I find the problem.

Thank you, but propblem was with the webhosting provider.
In this case don't work host name :/tmp/mysql50.sock.
The provaider change the host name end now it work grate.

danke für deinen tipp! Es hat mir sehr weitergeholfen.
Da hier sehr viele Dateien nach solch einem Schema existieren und es funktionieren muss, habe ich ganz einfach quick and dirty einen parser ind die egw-pear/Net/IMAPProtocol.php gesetzt.
Der Dateiname wird zwar hierdurch verändert aber immer noch besser als wie wenn dateien mit ")(" im Dateinamen gar nicht angezeigt werden.

- primary unique id: id (default), uid, or any custom field

I understand the principal but will have to a bit of heavy learning to get it to work.

One last question, on trhew addressbook.index page you can search all the custom fields. I would like to set this up to search only selected custom fields. I tried using the next match custom fields header and put the custom field name in the name box prefixed with # but did not want to work.

If I can get this working then I think I'm pretty much done on this project.

Ok, you can already do that, by supplying a an ajax call in the onchange
of the first selectbox, which calls the server and updates the options

egroupware edits broken after migration

Hi,
I've migrated egroupware from solaris 10 on sparc to x86. I've sourced packages from the same source at opencsw.org for apache, php, mysql etc. Apache (now 2.2.11 up from 2.2.9?) and php (now 5.2.9) were marginally later versions, mysql is same at 5.0. I moved the egroupware code from old server to new server as is. The egroupware version is snapshot 2009/03/09 with the syncml patches and WAS working fine on the old server.

Everything works fine on the new server except when I go to edit something. eg an existing calendar appointment (but similar probs with address book)

the error in the browser is:
Error!
Remote server or file not found

You tried to access the address https://<my.server>t/egroupware/index.php?menuaction=calendar.calendar_uiforms.edit&cal_id=1078&date=20090711, which is currently unavailable. Please make sure that the Web address (URL) is correctly spelled and punctuated, then try reloading the page.
Make sure your Internet connection is active and check whether other applications that rely on the same connection are working.
