delay between command and action with Powerlink USB using wish 2.1.1I just installed the wish driver 2.1.1 and everything works fine but there
is about 5 seconds delay between the time I hit enter for echo command and the time the light actually reacts. I tried both echo and nbecho with identical results. I don't think I experienced this delay using the windows software that came with the PowerLink USB controller. Is this normal for this driver ? If not, does anybody know a way to make this work better ? Re: delay between command and action with Powerlink USB using wish 2.1.1This is normal for the driver. You can adjust the queuing delay using some
of the parameters but by default I have them set to be very conservative to work on noisy lines. If you tweak down the delay between transmissions, you will find that there is some balance between consistency of operation and speed. If you make it to fast, your system will be erratic with some working and some not.
