default text editor questionWhen using the default text editor to enter a link, I see a 'ghosted' popup
on the left of the screen with potential matches. While the visual list is nice, is there any way to select items from the list? Every keystroke I've tried (even clicking on it) doesn't seem to work. Also, I see a 'tab-completion' option below the editor. Is this something different, or related to the popup? Thanks. -- Bobman |

Could someone please open up a JIRA ticket on this? /Janne |

Re: default text editor questionDirk,
Thanks for the link. This explains all the functionality that previously was hidden to me. BTW, clicking on the list (at least in FF3.0) doesn't do anything. -- Bobman On Mon, Jul 7, 2008 at 4:01 PM, Dirk Frederickx <dirk.frederickx@...> wrote: > >> When using the default text editor to enter a link, I see a 'ghosted' > >> popup > >> on the left of the screen with potential matches. Which versions of JSPWiki are you using. Make sure to use one of the later versions cause many bugs were resolved during the last couple of months. dirk |

Re: default text editor questionExpanding the snippets works fine, but the popup list of links is not
clickable. I am using FF 3.0 and JSPWiki 2.6.3. I even restarted FF in safe mode (all plugins disabled). Example: I have a page 'TestNG' in my wiki. While editing another page I type '[Test' and the popup window appears with 'TestNG' as the only suggestion. I've tried clicking on it, hitting 'tab', etc., and nothing works. Also, the popup appears waaay over on the left; it would be great if it appeared over the textarea where it was visible (I didn't see it the first couple weeks I used JSPWiki). Am I doing something wrong? I want to make sure I educate my users in the best way to take advantage of all the JSPWiki features. -- Bobman On Mon, Jul 7, 2008 at 4:16 PM, Dirk Frederickx <dirk.frederickx@...> wrote: > On Mon, Jul 7, 2008 at 10:11 PM, Bob Paige <bobpaige@...> wrote: > > Dirk, > > > > Thanks for the link. As for now, this page doesn't exist... what happened? Regards, Florian |

Re: default text editor questionAFAIK these entries are only clickable as of version 2.7.0-svn-?.
I've just been testing this on www.jspwiki.org, which runs a 2.6 version, too. FF3 shows up with an unclickable list as you describe, IE7 doesn't show up anything. Re: default text editor questionThe page does exist; it has a space between the two words.
I got this same error at first. -- Bobman On Mon, Jul 7, 2008 at 4:41 PM, Florian Holeczek <florian@...> wrote: > > Take a look at http://www.jspwiki.org/wiki/PostEditor. Hope this helps. > > As for now, this page doesn't exist... what happened? > > Regards, > Florian > > |

Re: default text editor questionYou can test it on the sandbox jspwiki, it has the latest version.
