Even though apparently better than a few days ago, where the DEHS pages only
showed "Db error", the data still seems to be fairly outdated. My package ppl
has "Last time checked: 2008-09-26 00:14:55".

I don't know if you changed something but when I looked at the list of
my packages (packages I (co-)maintain) today I found just an incomplete
list. I have 37 source packages, but [1] just lists 12 or so.

I first thought, that the scripts maybe only parse the first line of the
uploaders field. But I checked someone else PTS page and there it works,
even if the person is listed in line 2 of an Uploaders field.

So: I have no idea, what went wrong here. It would be nice, if you could
be so kind to take a look at it.

Packages I (co)maintain and which are not listed: bodr,
chemical-mime-data, docbook-xml, docbook, bkchem, easychem, xmlroff, ...

If this is a temporary issue, please feel free to close this report.

Carnivore doesn't contain keys from debian maintainers (DM).

Looking at the code, it shouldn't be too hard to add for someone with
python skills.

Does someone know the canonical place to get the debian maintainers
keyring? Should we extract it from the package in unstable?

for your information (and perhaps people interested in qa.debian.org can
be expected learn more than the average user): in the Debian BTS the way
to mark duplicates is to merge bugs, not close the dupes. Even when a
bug is a duplicate, the report might contain relevant information which
will be linked to the original bug by merging, but not by closing the
duplicate. In this case, it probably doesn't matter much, but please
don't just close duplicates in the Debian BTS in the future.

Hi,

Since move of p.d.o to a new machine [1], popcon graph are "404 Not Found" [2].

Those reports was hosted on Ian "igloo" Lynagh account on p.d.o for a long time and I would like
to thanks him for this service.
But, IMHO, thoses graphs should be directly hosted on qa.debian.org machine to avoid
this kind of unavailability and to keep things related together.

DDPO doesn't use carnivore to merge identities (unlike MIA).

Hi. KiBi has kindly sponsored an updated package (0.0.15.1) of usbmount
(which I recently adopted).

The problem I have is that both my DDPO page [1] doesn't show the new
version of the package, even though the DDPO page listed this version while
it was in incoming and the package is already in the package mirrors [2].

The tooltip on the version of my DDPO page for this package says:
"unstable: (no projectb data found)".

I would appreciate if this were updated and, if further information is
wanted, please don't hesitate to ask.

Wrong dependencies on cyrus-imapd-2.2

I uninstalled the package libdb-4.3, and I found that cyrus-imapd-2.2
stopped working.
The problem is that the package is not listed in the dependencies, so
it is possible to break imapd.

Is it possible to correct this problem?

I use Debian etch, with some pieces from lenny, and version 2.2.13-10
of cyrus-* packages (but the problem is present also in 2.2.13-14+b3)

This appears to have been at least partly fixed; submitting a single
character simply causes the page to reload. One can still cause a
redirect loop by searching for "..", but it could be argued that's a
case of GIGO.

Hello,
since one can subscribe to packages he does not maintain via the DDPO bot,
it'd be useful to patch the DDPO page, since it actually lists the subscribed
packages in separate sections, but *keeps* packages in main/contrib/non-free in
their sections, not in the subscribed ones.

I'm attaching two patches fixing this behaviour:

1) developer_top.wml.patch -- this puts the subscribed sections at the top of
the page, thus moving main/contrib/non-free at the end of the page;

2) developer_bottom.wml.patch -- this one leaves the order as-is, and thus
needs some more control on what packages are being displayed in
main/contrib/non-free (thus, it's a bigger patch).

I've added bugs_packages and archived_bugs_packages tables, but left the
package and source columns in bugs. So you can use the tables if you
want the "enhanced" precision, or the bugs fields if you don't care ;)

I've haven't updated the views to use them, since there's no data in the
tables atm.

Each solution has it's advantages and disadvantes. And it mostly comes
down on how far you want to normalize your data. And I'm actually in
favour of normalizing the data, and have no problems writing such complex
queries. But it's not always easy to get those right.

We currently already process some of the data before it gets stored
in the database to make the queries easier to write and mostly
faster to execute. And I'm not sure what the best way to go is.

That's quite dirty, as it would cause the other information to be
duplicated as well (e.g a "bugs per submitter" query). Also, it would
require changing the primary key for the bugs table (it's the id,
currently).
