create_from_data

Hi
In the chapter memory managment you don't mention
who has the responsibility to delete objects created
with functions such as Pixbuf::create_from_data ().

Is this the programmers task, or is there reference counting
(GLib::RefPtr) involved?
Or more generally, if a function returns a RefPtr to an object, will
gtmm take care of its deletion?
