I have a user who sometimes cannot get the mouse pointer over to the
scroll bar on the right of their screen.
( 4d 2004.2 XP client )
I've shown them if they 'maximise' the window (top right XP icons
maximise minimise etc) then the scroll bar is then visible and also
that 4d will 'remember' this setting
so when they open next time the bar will show
They have to open a series of windows to get to this one so have
shown that the 1st should be maximised
then the second etc till they get to the final one and the scroll
bar should show on
two things
1. can i force this maximisation of the windows and how?
2. I run a separate process from this last window. This attempts to
bring its window 'to the
front' - what is the correct way to do this ? It seems that it does
not always come to the front
possibly when the window is maximised - a catch 22?
what is the best window type to be using to solve both these issues
any thoughts appreciated
thanks
John
