cas upgrade questionHi,
Maybe this is a simple question. I install cas-server-3.0.7 in my PC. Now I want to upgrade my CAS to the latest version cas-server-3.2 without re-configuring anything. Can I do that? and how can I do that? Edward _______________________________________________ cas-dev mailing list cas-dev@... http://tp.its.yale.edu/mailman/listinfo/cas-dev |

Re: cas upgrade questionEdward,
Its non-trivial to move from the CAS 3.0.x release to the new releases. The new releases utilize Maven2 as well as a more organized XML configuration structure. If you made few changes to your CAS server (i.e. just changing some XML files) it shouldn't be too bad, but it will be different. -Scott On Tue, Apr 15, 2008 at 3:00 PM, Edward Chen <edwardc@...> wrote: Hi, -- -Scott Battaglia PGP Public Key Id: 0x383733AA LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/scottbattaglia _______________________________________________ cas-dev mailing list cas-dev@... http://tp.its.yale.edu/mailman/listinfo/cas-dev |

Re: cas upgrade questionScott,
I got a bit confused what you said. Do you mean it's easy to move CAS 3.0 to the latest release? or I can simply modify some XML files in CAS 3.0 then it will become the latest version?? Re: cas upgrade questionYou'll need to download the CAS 3.2.1 release and apply your XML changes to the configuration files. Its impossible to turn CAS 3.0.x to CAS 3.2.1 with just XML changes.
