Folks;
just had to kill -9 the recent NetBeans build; after trying to create a new
maven project (quickstart archetype), the IDE completely locked up, leaving
behind just two grey windows ("new project" and the IDE main window),
pushing CPU load to 100% for about 5 minutes until I decided to shot it
down. The IDE has around 30 maven2 projects opened at this time. Both the
NetBeans messages.log and the .xsession-errors at this time is being filled
with entries like this:
WARNUNG [org.netbeans.api.java.queries.SourceLevelQuery]: #83994: Ignoring
bogus source level 5 for
/home/kr/NetBeansProjects/bflow4java/bf4j/tags/stable-0.0.8/lib-mailarchive-impl/target/c
...Too much output, ignoring rest...
Last thing happening (according to the status bar) was "Task scanning".
Restarting the IDE it seems the project hasn't opened, but, looking to the
file system, the initial project structure is obviously there (so the IDE
just didn't open it?). Running a recent JDk6u10 beta build atop Ubuntu 8.04.
Hints, anyone? Worth filing an issue or am I just due to cleaning my
.netbeans folder once again? :)
Cheers & best,
Kristian
