Is it possible to boot a flash drive once within OpenBOOT?  Searching
thus far hasn't revealed anything yet.

Thanks for any pointers which can be passed on...

If your system can boot off an IDE disk, this should be a no-brainer.

I boot my Netra AX-1105 off a 64MB CompactFlash, plugged into an
IDE-CF converter. Seen as a very small IDE disk from the OF. Quite
inexpensive.

If your system is SCSI only, then you'd have to add something like an
Acard SCSI-to-IDE bridge, which ruins the inexpensive aspect of the
thing.

Maybe modern system can boot from USB, but I'm happily stuck with
older stuff... ;-)
