I'm trying to build Gumstix OE Following this guide,

,which I used in my desktop with Ubuntu 7.10. but it doesn't work on my notebook with Ubuntu 8.04.
This is the error:
us@us-laptop:~/Work/gumstix$ bitbake gumstix-basic-image
ERROR: Unable to open conf/bitbake.conf
What can I do? Is this an error on Ubuntu 8.04?
