Folks;
in some situation I am striving to get something like this done:
- Create a standalone EJB module (not part of an EAR project) and
deploy it to a glassfish container.
- Build a standalone webapp calling EJBs inside this module and also
deploy it to the glassfish container.
For what I learnt so far, given the two of them aren't in the same EAR,
I have to use the EJB Remote interface. However both the .war and
the .jar (EJB) module should share some base classes (i.e. entities).
So far I wonder how to correctly wire this up in NetBeans as all the
tutorials I have read so far explicitely deal with having webapp and
ejb module in the same EAR. Can anyone point me where to look, here? EA
client inside the .war?
