acpi acpi-support, which one ?

Hi all,

I saw the packages "acpi" and "acpid" are very similar to "acpi-support"
and "acpi-support-base".

Both seem to get a very similar content: scripts for using the acpi-events.

I suppose, one of them will be obsolete soon. But which one is it ?
Which package is recommended in sid ?

Thanks for help!

Regards

Hans

acpi is a utility for querying ACPI status; the remaining three
packages form a dependency chain: acpi-support (event-handling
scripts) -> acpi-support-base (base event-handling scripts) -> acpid
(low-level daemon responsible for running the scripts).

As such, they all get along quite nicely.
